Not really known for their stylish hair-dos (probably because they always wear a helmet) dwarf beards are a sign of pride and recognition. Many believe that the source of the dwarf's strength and innovation comes from their beard and that washing them diminishes that power, therefore many have never washed their beards in their lives. The dwarf beard fits most standard minifig head/torso combinations.
